Zara Waldeback is an award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter. She has written three feature scripts for UK and European producers, and made 5 short films with funding from the UK Film Council, Screen South, South East Arts and LCMM. She has worked for British Screen, First Film Foundation and Film London and has for the last 7 years held a post as Senior Lecturer in Video Production at Thames Valley University. She also teaches screenwriting in Sweden, has written numerous articles for "Scriptwriter" magazine and is currently co-writing a book on screenwriting for Palgrave. Her films have been represented by the British Council, sold for international distribution, and shown at festivals all over the world, including Sweden, USA, Korea, France, Lithuania, United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Iran.
